PAK vs NZ: After picking up just 1 wicket in the first two sessions, Pakistan bowlers made a comeback in the 3rd session as New Zealand's score read 309/6 at stumps on day 1 of the 2nd Test. 

As Agha Salman dismissed Devon Conway (122) on 234 runs, New Zealand lost Kane Williamson (36) to Naseem Shah on 240, Daryl Mitchell (3) to Agha on 255, Henry Nicholls to Agha again at 278 and Michael Bracewell (0) to Abrar Ahmed on 279. 

Pakistan picked up 5 wickets in the 3rd session, where Agha Salman picked up 3 wickets while Abrar Ahmed and Naseem Shah picked up 1 wicket each. At Stumps, Tom Blundell (30*) and Ish Sodhi (11*) are at the crease for the visitors. 

Earlier, New Zealand captain Tim Southee won the toss & opted to bat first against Pakistan in the 2nd Test. This match is being played at National Stadium, Karachi.
