Indian spinner Piyush Chawla lost his father on Monday due to Covid-19 related complications. He was being treated in a hospital in Delhi after contracting the virus. 

Chawla, who was part of India's successful World Cup-winning campaign in 2011, announced the demise of his father on Instagram.
