According to PTI reports, ace Indian spinner Ravichandran Ashwin is set to miss the next one and a half months of cricket due to an injury. Ashwin was part of the squad which toured South Africa from December 2021-January 2022.
After a 3-0 washout in the ODI series against South Africa, many fans and experts called for removing Ashwin from the limited-overs scenario. In a recent leak, it has been stated that Ravi Ashwin will miss the upcoming white-ball series against West Indies followed by the home test series against Sri Lanka.

India is set to host West Indies for 3 ODIs followed by 3 T20Is, starting from 6th February. After that, India will host Sri Lanka for 2 tests from 25th February to 9th March, which will be followed by 3 T20Is against the same side.
