After a swashbuckling centuries by Sikandar Raja and Innocent Kaia, Zimbabwe beat Bangladesh in a triller match by five-wickets in the three-match ODI Series at Harare Stadium.
Batting first, Bangladesh scored 303 runs with a loss of two-wickets with the help of Liton Das who scored 81 runs of 89 balls, Anamul Haque (73 of 62 balls), Tamim Iqbal (62 of 88 balls), and Mushfiqur Rahim (52 of 49 balls).
Chasing the hefty target of +300, Zimbabwe were struggling at the start when they lost three early wickets at the score of 62, but experienced Raza scored 135 runs of 109 balls with 8-fours and 6-sixes and also made a crucial partnership with Innocent Kaia, who also scored a century by smashing 110 runs in 122 balls with 11-fours and two sixes.
Both the batters single handedly won the game for Zimbabwe as they stuck 192 run partnership. For Bangladesh Mustafizur, Shariful, Mosaddek and Meindy Hasan were able to clinch one-wicket each, which wasn't enough to t\lead their side to a win in the series opener.
