March 18(CRICKETNMORE) - Rohit Sharma, the Indian hitman and the Indian T20 skipper achieved a new milestone after scoring 27 runs against Bangladesh in the final of Nidahas trophy as he surpassed Shoaib Malik (1821) and Jean Paul Duminy (1822) because of which he climbed to the 5^th spot in hitting most runs in T20I.

Rohit Sharma has played a total of 79 matches with a strike rate of 136 and his highest score in T20 is 118 runs. He is the 3^rd Indian to score 7000 runs in T20 career, before him Suresh Raina and Virat Kohli are the only Indians to enter in this club of 7000 runs in T20I. Along with that he also became the 10^th batsmen in the world to score 7000 runs.
