Sunrisers Eastern Cape and Paarl Royals are placed 2nd and 3rd respectively with 17 points each in 8 games, with Sunrisers ahead on Net Run Rate.
Joburg Super Kings are placed 4th with 16 points in 7 matches, while MI Cape Town are 5th with 3 wins in 7 matches. Quinton de Kock's Durban's Super Giants are currently in the last spot with just 2 wins in 7 matches.

With South Africa hosting England for a 3-match ODI series, SA20 had a scheduled break for about a week (25th January-1st February). However, the SA20 league is set to continue after the break with the clash between Durban Super Giants and MI Cape Town on February 2nd.
