Indian opening batter Shafali Verma has retained her number 1 ranking in the T20s. 

Verma's knock of 47 runs in the 2nd T20I against South Africa with the help of six fours and two sixes helped her retain the top spot in the T20I rankings with 750 points. Beth Mooney is right behind her with 748 points.

Shafali Verma made her India debut when she was just 15 years old in 2019. She has since then been one of the top emerging talents in women's cricket.
