Asia Cup 2022: Afghanistan bowler Fazalhaq Farooqi, who caught eyes with his inclusion in the Sunrisers Hyderabad in the IPL 2022, was struck with two wickets in the first over against Sri Lanka.

In the opening match of Asia Cup 2022, left-arm pacer Fazalhaq Farooqi was given the responsibility to bowl the first over. The bowler didn't disappoint as he dismissed opener Kusal Mendis for just 2 runs, courtesy of a DRS review for LBW on the 5th bowl of the over.

On the next delivery, Farooqi caught in-form Charith Asalanka for a golden duck in front, dismissing the batter LBW.
