SL vs PAK - After picking up 4 wickets in the first session on day 1, Pakistani bowlers continued their onslaught despite Dinesh Chandimal's unbeaten 68 as Sri Lanka scored 166/8 at Tea on Day 1 of the first test. 

After Lunch, Shaheen struck early as he removed Dhanjaya de Silva (14) and Niroshan Dickwella (4) in quick succession. Naseem Shah then dismissed Ramesh Mendis (11) while Mohammad Nawaz took the wicket of Prabath Jayasuriya (3).

Dinesh Chandimal (68*) and Maheesh Theekshan (6*) are at the crease for the hosts at Tea. Shaheen Afridi has picked up 2 wickets for Pakistan while Yasir Shah has grabbed 2 wickets. Hasan Ali, Naseem Shah and Mohammad Nawaz managed 1 wicket each. 

Earlier, Sri Lanka captain Dimuth Karunaratne won the toss & opted to bat first against Pakistan in the 1st test. This match is being played at Galle International Stadium, Galle.
