SL vs PAK - Courtesy of a strong bowling performance, Pakistan were able to bowl out Sri Lanka in the first innings for 222 runs in the third session on day 1 of the first test. 

For Pakistan, Shaheen Afridi was the highest wicket-taker with 4 wickets to his name. Hasan Ali and Yasir Shah picked up 2 wickets each while Naseem Shah and Mohammad Nawaz grabbed 1 wicket each. 

For Sri Lanka, Dinesh Chandimal was the top scorer with 76 runs. Maheesh Theekshana (38) played a good knock at the end, etching a partnership of 44 runs for the 9th wicket with Chandimal and a partnership of 45 runs for the 10th wicket with Kasun Rajitha (12*), taking Sri Lanka across the 200-run mark. 

Earlier, Sri Lanka captain Dimuth Karunaratne won the toss & opted to bat first against Pakistan in the 1st test. This match is being played at Galle International Stadium, Galle.
