Jos Buttler top-scored as England scored 163/6 in the first innings against New Zealand in the warmup match for the T20 World Cup. 

On being asked to bat first, England lost Jason Roy on the first ball but went on to score 47 in the powerplay. Malan and Morgan, however, had poor outings. 

Buttler scored 70 off 51 balls and got good support from Jonny Bairstow, who hit 30 from 21 balls. Sam Billings finished the innings on a high, scoring 27 from 17 balls.
