ENG vs AFG: Sam Curran became the first England bowler ever to pick up a 5-fer as Afghanistan were bowled out for 112 runs in 19.4 overs. 

Afghanistan were at 91/4 at one stage, with Ibrahim Zadran (32) and Usman Ghani (30) contributing with the bat. However, English bowlers then inflicted a batting collapse as Afghanistan went on to be halted at 112/10 in 19.4 overs.

Sam Curran picked up 5 wickets in his 3.4 overs while conceding just 10 runs. Ben Stokes and Mark Wood picked up 2 wickets each while Chris Woakes managed 1 wicket. 

Earlier, England captain Jos Buttler won the toss & opted to bowl first against Afghanistan in the Super 12 match of T20 World Cup 2022. This match is being played at Perth Stadium, Perth.
