PAK vs BAN: Pakistan bowlers ensure their entry into the semis after they restricted Bangladesh to 127/8 in a crucial clash of Group B here at Adelaide Oval.

After winning the toss Bangladesh came to bat first and delivered a convincing start. Opener Najmul Shanto scored a half-century and got a 52-run second wicket stand with Soumya Sarkar (20 in 17). 

Najmul got 54 runs in 48 balls and Afif Hossain with 24 runs in 17 deliveries was the second-leading run scorer for Bangladesh.

Pakistan bowlers have been their stronger side for a reason as they have a solid pace attack. In this match, Shaheen Afridi bowled at an economy of 5.50 and grabbed 4 wickets by giving 22 runs. 

Star all-rounder Shadab Khan took 2/30, and Haris Rauf and Iftikhar Ahmed got one wicket each for their team.
