T20 World Cup 2022: In the 2nd match of Round 1, Netherlands' bowlers performed extremely well as UAE were halted to 111/8 in 20 overs. 

Roelof van der Merwe conceded 19 runs in 3 overs with a wicket to his name, while Tim Pringle conceded just 13 runs in his 4 overs, grabbing a wicket as well. Medium pace bowler Bas de Leede was the top wicket-taker with 3 wickets to his name while conceding 19 runs in 3 overs. 

Dutch bowler Fred Klaassen also picked up 2 wickets. For UAE, Muhammad Waseem was the top scorer with 41 runs but took 47 balls for the same while scoring only 1 four & 2 sixes. None of the other batters were able to cross the double-digit mark. 

Earlier, UAE captain CP Rizwan won the toss & opted to bat first against the Netherlands in the Round 1 match of the T20 World Cup 2022. This match is being played at Simonds Stadium, Geelong.
