Texas Super Kings (TSK) registered a convincing 69-run victory over the Los Angeles Knight Riders (LAKR) in the opening match of the Major League Cricket (MLC) 2023 tournament. Earlier, Super Kings won the toss and elected to bat first at at the Grand Prairie Stadium.

TSK posted a competitive total of 181/6 in their allotted 20 overs. In reply, LAKR were bowled out for just 112 runs in 14 overs.
