Courtesy of excellent bowling performance by Team India's Raj Bawa and Ravi Kumar, the Indian U19 team was able to restrict England to 190/10 in 44.5 overs. Raj Bawa became the first bowler to pick up a fifer in the U19 World Cup finals.
Left-arm pacer Ravi Kumar picked up 4 wickets and together with Raj Bawa, stopped England below a score of 200. James Rew was the lone ranger with his 95 off 116 and etched a partnership of 93 runs with James Sales for the eighth wicket. These two batters took England U19 team from 91/7 to 184/8, but Ravi Kumar picked up two wickets in the 44th over and Raj Bawa finished off with the last wicket in the 45th over.
