South Africa won the first T20I match against India by seven wickets at Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi.
In a super exciting match, David Miller scored 64 in 31 balls by hitting 4 fours & 5 sixes & Rassie van der Dussen thrashed 75 runs in 43 balls, hitting 7 fours & 5 sixes to get South Africa a 1-0 lead in a five-match T20I series.
In the first inning, Indian opener Ishan Kishan played a thunderous knock and helped India score a total of 211/4 in the first T20I match against South Africa.
Ishan Kishan played a fine inning by scoring all over the ground. He smacked 76 runs in 48 balls with 10 fours & 3 sixes. Indian batting performed well as Ruturaj Gaikwad (23 of 15), Rishabh Pant (29 of 16), Hardik Pandya (31 not out of 12), and Shreyas Iyer (36 of 27) made decent runs with a quick pace.
Earlier, South African skipper Temba Bavuma won the toss and opted to bowl first in the first T20I against India.
The second T20I match will be played on June 12 at Cuttack.
