BCCI on Saturday gave a special tribute to legendary Indian batsman Sunil Gavaskar as he completes his 50 years of debut. 

Gavaskar made his test debut in 1971 against West Indies on this day. He has been one of the best batsmen India ever produced. 

Gavaskar scored over 10000 test runs during his career in 125 matches he played.
