IND vs NZ: After notching two tons in the recently concluded series against Sri Lanka, Virat Kohli went off to a terrible start in the ODI series and was dismissed for just 8 runs. Kiwi spinner Mitchell Santner got rid of the run machine with a good delivery.
After India lost Rohit Sharma (34) for a total of 60 runs, it was up to Virat Kohli and Shubman Gill to continue the innings. However, 3 overs later, Kohli was yet again exposed against the left-arm spinner.
Santner pitched the delivery outside the off stump from round the wicket and the ball turned just enough to hit the top of off stump as Kohli played for the slider. The ball demanded a front foot press but Kohli stayed back to block and completely missed the delivery. The ace batter was dismissed after scoring just 8 runs off 10 balls.
