KAR vs LAH: Opener James Vince finally gained form while Matthew Wade and captain Imad Wasim also contributed with the bat as Karachi Kings posted 185/5 against Lahore Qalandars in the 8th match of Pakistan Super League 2023. 

Opening the innings, James Vince and Matthew Wade added 70 runs in the first 7 overs, thrashing Qalandars' bowlers all-around. Wade scored 36 runs in 24 balls before he was unluckily run out. 

James Vince managed 46 runs off 36 balls before Zaman Khan cleaned him up. Haider Ali (18) and in-form batter Shoaib Malik (10) were dismissed early, but captain Imad Wasim, batting at #5, took charge and helped his team to a good total. 

Ben Cutting also contributed with 20 runs before getting dismissed in the last over, while Imad Wasim remained unbeaten on 35 runs in 19 balls. For Lahore Qalandars, Shaheen Afridi, Zaman Khan, Haris Rauf and Liam Dawson managed 1 wicket.

Earlier, Lahore Qalandars captain Shaheen Afridi won the toss & opted to bowl first against Karachi Kings in the 8th match of PSL 8. This match is being played at National Stadium, Karachi.
