Virat Kohli Smashes Half Century Against Pakistan, Creates A New Record As Captain
Indian captain Virat Kohli smashed a much-needed half-century against arch-rivals Pakistan in the ongoing 16th match of the ICC T20World Cup 2021. Kohli played a knock of 57 runs off 49 balls with 5 fours & 1 six. He has been dismissed against Pakistan for the first time.
With this, Kohli became the first captain to score a half-century in all ICC tournaments. In 50 over World Cup, Champions Trophy, World Test Championship and T20 World Cup, he became the first player to smash a half-century as a skipper.
While writing this piece, Pakistan seems comfortable at 69/0 in 9.3 overs with both the openers - Babar Azam & Mohammad Rizwan still at the crease, chasing a score of 152.
