Virat Kohli has announced that he will step down as the Captain of the Indian T20 side after the conclusion of the T20 World Cup 2021. 

Kohli took to Twitter to announce this decision, citing workload management as the reason. He arrived at this decision after discussions with his close people - Ravi Shashtri & Rohit Sharma. 

He will be continuing as a batter in the T20 side and as a captain in the other two formats.
