In the ongoing Big Bash League match between Melbourne Stars and Melbourne Renegades, the drama was witnessed in the last over of the first innings. Stars captain Adam Zampa was bowling the last over of the innings, with Tom Rogers at the non-striker's end.
As Zampa ran in to bowl the 5th delivery of the over, the bowler withdrew from his followthrough and then whipped the bails at the bowler's end, appealing for the runout. Tom Rogers was way out of his crease and was unhappy at the appeal.
Spicy, spicy scenes at the MCG.

However, the third umpire saw the replay and reckoned that Adam Zampa had completed his action and wasn't justified in running the batter out, as the batter was inside the crease until Zampa's arm crossed the vertical. The umpire adjudged the batter not out.
