ENG vs SA - On the rain-affected day 1 of the first test at Lord's, visitors South Africa held the leash on the hosts England tightly, crippling them to 116 runs for 6 wickets before Stumps were called on day 1 after just 32 hours due to heavy rainfall.
England lost their first wicket in the form of opener Alex Lees (5) in the 3rd over as Kagiso Rabada provided the opening wicket. Zak Crawley (9) was the next to be dismissed, by the same bowler in the 9th over.
Prominent batter Joe Root was surprisingly dismissed for a low score (8) as he was trapped LBW by Marco Jansen in the 14th over.
