IND vs BAN: Fast bowler Jaydev Unadkat got the chance to play for team India in the 2nd Test against Bangladesh in Dhaka where he got India the first breakthrough as he dismissed Bangla opener, Zakir Hasan. This was the maiden Test wicket for Jaydev Unadkat, for which he had to wait for 12 years and 2 days.
Unadkat played his Test debut on December 16th, 2010 against South Africa in Centurion, where he went wicketless. After which, he got to play the 2nd Test of his career on December 22nd 2022, where he grabbed his maiden Test wicket.

While considering the longest gap between two international Tests, only Lala Amarnath had a long gap where he played two Tests in a time span of 12 years and 129 days.

Unadkat couldn't reach Bangladesh in time to play the first Test and replaced the first match's Player of the Match spinner Kuldeep Yadav to play in the 2nd Test.
