IND vs BAN: Bangladesh got off to a great start while chasing 513 as the openers added 124 runs for the first wicket. Indian bowlers looked nowhere near picking up a wicket on a pitch assisting the batters more even on Day 4.
Both openers, Najmul Hossain Shanto and debutant Zakir Hasan scored half-centuries as Bangladesh were on the path to a massive run chase. However, Rishabh Pant showed excellent wicket-keeping as India finally got the opening breakthrough.
On the 1st delivery of the 46th over, Umesh Yadav bowled a short-of-length delivery from round the wicket around the 5th-6th stump line. A delivery which could've been left alone, left-handed Shanto stuck his bat out to play a loose shot and managed a thick outside edge.
Virat Kohli at first slip made a mess out of a regulation catch, but Rishabh Pant displayed the presence of mind to dive across to his lift and snatch it mid-air. Even Rishabh Pant completed the catch on his second attempt, as Shanto walked back distraught after scoring 67 runs with 7 fours.
