PAK vs ENG: A Test match criticized for a lifeless pitch over the duration of the last 4 days, has now evolved into a match where a draw seems the most improbable result on 5th day. That's the excitement of Test cricket.
After England declared relatively early, setting a 343-run target for Pakistan to win, the hosts lost captain Babar Azam and opener Abdullah Shafique for just 25 runs. Pakistan looked in a spot of bother after Imam-ul-Haq was also dismissed for a personal score of 48 runs.
However, Saud Shakeel got together with Mohammad Rizwan and these two added 87 runs for the 5th wicket. While Rizwan was dismissed for 46 runs, Saud Shakeel was going strong. At a score of 76 runs, Robinson bowled a wide full ball which was there to be driven with two short covers for the uppish drive.
It was too wide for Shakeel to control the shot after initially going for a four. Shakeel came forward to play the shot but Robinson's extra height made it harder to get over the ball on the front foot. A loose reach of a drive looped off the bat, and substitute fielder Keaton Jennings sprung into action as he leapt towards his right to pluck the ball in thin air.
