SA20: Presenter Zainab Abbas just closely avoided a terrifying injury while doing her job at the boundary line as a MI Cape Town fielder crashed into the presenter while trying to save a boundary.
In the 12th SA20 match between MI Cape Town and Sunrisers Eastern Cape, Zainab Abbas was commentating from the boundary line and landed in trouble after she took a major tumble. The incident took place in the 13th over of the second innings when Sunrisers' all-rounder Marco Jansen was batting.
Sam Curran bowled a short delivery on the final delivery of the 13th over, which was pulled by Jansen towards the mid-wicket area. The MICT fielder went for a valiant dive to save the four, and the dive took him outside the boundary line, catching Abbas on her leg.
