IND vs NZ: Ahead of the 3-match ODI series against New Zealand, India skipper Rohit Sharma has unveiled Ishan Kishan's batting order for the upcoming series.
In a conversation with Press Trust of India (PTI), Rohit Sharma has unveiled the batting position of the explosive wicket-keeper batter Ishan Kishan. The young batter was given a spot in the team after Rishabh Pant met with an unfortunate car crash and was ruled out.
Rohit Sharma has said that Ishan Kishan will not open the innings but play in the middle order. With Gill in top form and captain Rohit Sharma, the opening slot isn't vacant for the taking. However, with Shreyas Iyer ruled out, Ishan Kishan can come in at #4 with KLRahul at #5 and Suryakumar Yadav/Hardik Pandya can play the finisher at #6.
