India U19 team powered by captain Yash Dhull's 110 and vice-captain Shaik Rasheed's 94 were able to post 290/5 against Australia in the semi-final of the ICC U19 World Cup 2022.
India lost two early wickets at 37/2. However, the two batters stitched a partnership of 204 runs for the 3rd wicket and helped India put a respectable total on the board. Dinesh Bana smacked 2 sixes and 2 fours in the last over as India smashed 27 runs in the last over Tom Whitney.
For the Australia U19 team, Jack Nisbet and William Salzmann picked up two wickets each.
