Pakistan Super League 2023 – PSL 8 Format, Venues, Full Schedule And Squads Of All Teams

The eighth edition of the Pakistan Super League (commonly known as PSL 8) is set to start in February 2023. The first match will be played on February 13th, while the final of PSL 8 is scheduled to be played on March 19th, 2023. A total of 6 teams will compete in the T20 tournament, where Lahore Qalandars will take the field as defending champions. 

PSL 8 Format:

In PSL 8, each of the 6 teams will play each other twice in the league stage of the tournament in a double round-robin format. After the league stage, the top 4 teams on the points table will qualify for the playoffs. 

The 1st and 2nd placed teams will play against each other in qualifier 1, while the 3rd and 4th placed teams will play the eliminator. Then, the loser of qualifier 1 and the winner of the eliminator will clash against each other in qualifier 2. In the end, the winners of qualifiers 1 and 2 will meet each other in the finals for the title. 

PSL 8 Venues:

PSL 8 will be played at 4 venues in Pakistan. Multan, Karachi, Lahore and Rawalpindi will host the PSL 8 games. All 4 playoffs/final matches will be played in Lahore.

Lahore – Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore
Rawalpindi – Pindi Club Ground, Rawalpindi
