1st Test Victory in 1952

It took 20 long years for India to taste first ever Test victory and it came against England at Madras in 1952. Led by Vijay Hazare, India threshed England by an innings and eight runs. Magical bowling spell by Vinoo Mankad and fine batting performances from Pankaj Roy and Polly Umrigar helped India to register their first test victory

1983 - ICC World Cup Champion

A Golden day in the history of Indian Cricket. In a low scoring final, Kapil Dev's brigade beat two times world champions West Indies at the famous Lord's ground. It was an important victory as it changed the future of this game in the country.

1985 - World Championship of Cricket

Defending the World Cup Title, Team India showcased an outstanding performance in the World Championship of Cricket. India won all the matches played and beat Pakistan in the final of the tournament. Ravi Shastri was named 
​as ​the player of the tournament and was awarded an Audi 100 motor car.

2007 - ICC World T20 Champion

​India won the inaugural edition of Twenty 20 World Cup by beating arch-rival Pakistan ​in the final at Wanderers Stadium, Johannesburg. ​It was India's second ICC world title, first being the 1983 World Cup.​

2011 - ICC World Cup Winner

India won their second ODI World cup title by beating Sri Lanka in the final. Sachin Tendulkar played his last world cup. India's Yuvraj Singh was declared the man of the tournament.
