Trending

1) Ishan Kishan - The Indian cricketer had a great 2021 where he got picked in the Indian squad and played in the T20 World Cup. The 23-year-old wicketkeeper batter is one of the most promising players in the current Indian setup.

Ishan can bat at any position and is an aggressive batter, who can complement the anchor in the playing XI. Teams will be looking for him as a long-term investment. He has a base price of INR 2 crore for the Mega Auction

Ishan Kishan IPL Record: Matches - 61, Runs - 1452, Avg - 28.47, SR - 136.33

2) David Warner - The Australia opening batter is one of the best overseas players ever to play in the IPL. For the last seven years, Warner played for Sunrisers Hyderabad(SRH) and even captained the side to the title win in 2016.

Even though he had an off first half of 2021, Warner got his form back in the second half of the year and helped Australia win the T20 World Cup. The 35-year-old's explosive batting and additional captaincy experience makes him a brilliant pick for investment. His base price is INR 2 crore.

David Warner IPL Record: Matches - 150, Runs - 5449, Avg - 41.59, SR - 139.96

3) Shreyas Iyer - The Indian batter will be in the eyes of every franchise looking for a solid middle-order controller and a captaincy option. The 27-year-old wasn't available in the 1st half of the IPL 2021 due to injury and lost his Delhi Capitals captaincy to Rishabh Pant.

Iyer is slowly becoming a regular in the international setup in all formats and is at the perfect age where he will be at the peak of his powers. Iyer's base price is INR 2 crore for the Auction

Shreyas Iyer IPL Record: Matches - 87, Runs - 2375, Avg - 31.66, SR - 123.95

4) Jason Holder – The 30-year-old West Indian all-rounder is someone who will be in any team’s plans. Holder can bowl with the new ball, operate in the middle overs with his hit the deck ability, and is a decent death overs bowler.

Holder is also a perfect number five in the batting lineup. Knows how to anchor and has the ability to hit the ball hard. In the last year or so, the fast bowling all-rounder has upped his game and will keep his team in the game in every department. An added advantage – Holder has captaincy experience as well. His base price is INR 1.5 crore.

Jason Holder IPL Record: Matches - 26, Runs - 189, Avg - 14.53, SR - 121.15, Wkts - 35

5) Deepak Chahar – The Indian seam bowler who has shown his ability to bat from time to time. Deepak Chahar is a new ball specialist. He can swing the ball both ways and keeps it tight in the powerplay. Even though he has limited variations, his accuracy makes him hard to hit.

Chahar in the last year has not only set up matches with the ball but with the bat as well. He is the perfect number eight for a team looking for batting depth. He will start the Auction at the base price of INR 2 crore.
