ICC World Test Championship Points Table 2021-23
The second edition of the ICC World Test Championship 2021-2023 started on 4th August 2021 when India toured England for the five-match series. The second cycle of the WTC 2021-23 is scheduled to finish on 31st March 2023.
The two-year-long tournament will have 69 matches being played across 27 series in the league stage after which two teams will play the WTC Final. Each team will be playing six test series - three at home and three away.
As per schedule, only India's tour of England and the Ashes played between England and Australia consist of five test matches in this cycle of the World Test Championship. A minimum of two tests will be played in one test series.
In this edition of the WTC, for every win a team will get 12 points, a tie will be worth 6 points, a draw 4, and a loss will have zero points. In the World Test Championship points table, teams are ranked in the league table based on the percentage of total points won out of total points contested.
A total of nine teams will be participating - Australia, India, New Zealand, England, South Africa, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, West Indies, and Bangladesh.
