In a head-to-head for a top-four finish, Atalanta came into the match with three consecutive victories, while Juve had just ended their poor run in midweek, reports Xinhua.
After a goalless first half, youth talent Samuel Iling-Junior seized the opportunity to break the deadlock in the 56th minute when Adrien Rabiot's pull-back was blocked, but Iling-Junior was alert to score his debut goal from close range.
The home side came close to leveling the game in the dying minutes, but Davide Zappacosta saw his missile rattle the woodwork, while at the other end, Federico Chiesa charged forward to set up Dusan Vlahovic to drill home from the edge of the box.
With the win, Juve catapulted themselves into second place with 66 points, dropping Lazio to third.
Newly-crowned champion Napoli continued their winning form as they edged out Fiorentina 1-0.
