Central Africa Football Associations: Zanzibar defeated hosts Uganda 4-3 in a penalty shootout to clinch the title of the 2023 CECAFA (Council of East and Central Africa Football Associations) U15 Boys Championship on Thursday.

The game, held at the FUFA Technical Center in Njeru, ended 1-1 after 90 minutes, reports Xinhua.

Zanzibar took the lead through Lukman Omar in the 19th minute, but Ibra Ssebagala equalized for Uganda 11 minutes later.
