Jayawardene Tips Babar Azam To Dethrone Root At The Top Of Test Rankings
Former Sri Lanka captain Mahela Jayawardene has tipped Pakistan skipper Babar Azam to dethrone talismanic England batter Root at the top of the Test Rankings in future.
Root has been at the top of the Test batter rankings since June this year, His rich vein of form since start of 2021 resulted in him winning the ICC Men's Test Player of the Year award for the year. But Jayawardene has tipped Azam to dethrone Root at the top of the Test Rankings in near future.
