KKR vs RCB: In the 9th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2023), Kolkata Knight Riders defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore by 81 runs to register their first win of the season. Batting first in the match, Kolkata Knight Riders posted a massive total of 204 runs on the board. In reply, RCB openers gave a good start but as soon as the openers were dismissed, the Bangalore franchise struggled to get going as they were bowled out for 123 runs in 17.4 overs.

However, the fall of Virat's wicket started a collapse for the RCB batting unit. Before getting dismissed, Virat Kohli looked in good rhythm after smacking a four on the first bowl of the innings. However, Sunil Narine cleaned up the set batter in his very first over of the game to get the opening wicket for Kolkata.
