Windies captain Jason Holder banned for second Test against New Zealand
Wellington, Dec 5 (CRICKETNMORE) - West Indies captain Jason Holder has been suspended for one Test and fined 60 per cent of his match fee, while his players have been fined 30 per cent of their match fees, for maintaining a slow over-rate during New Zealands innings and 67 runs victory in the Wellington Test.
According to an International Cricket Council (ICC) statement, match referee Chris Broad imposed the suspension on Holder after the Windies were ruled to be three overs short of their target after time allowances were taken into consideration.
