IPL Auction: Yashasvi Jaiswal, Kartik Tyagi long term investments, says RR co-owner
Kolkata, Dec 19: Teenagers Yashasvi Jaiswal and Kartik Tyagi are long term investments who would be given a long rope of 4-5 years to perform to their potential, said Rajasthan Royals co-owner Manoj Badale after snapping up the youngsters at the 13th Indian Premier League (IPL) auction here on Thursday.
Uncapped Jaiswal, 17, and Tyagi, 19, were sold to Royals for Rs2.40 crore and Rs1.30 crore respectively. The pair is part of India's U-19 World Cup squad for South Africa next year.
