After being put in to bat first, NZ opener Guptill played a thunderous knock of 31 runs in 15 balls, with 3 fours & 2 sixes. With this, Guptill left Virat Kohli & became the player with the most runs in T20I cricket.
Guptill smashed Kohli's record as soon as smashed 14 runs in the first over itself in the match being played at Ranchi. The NZ opener smashed Bhuneshar Kumar for 3 fours & 2 sixes in this over.
