WATCH: Rashid Khan Gets His Revenge After Getting Smacked For A Four & An Altercation
SL vs AFG Asia Cup 2022: In the first Super 4 match of Asia Cup 2022 between Sri Lanka and Afghanistan, Sri Lanka defeated Afghanistan by 4 wickets. As always, the Afghan hopes were on spinner Rashid Khan to defend the total. Even though Rashid failed to perform, the spinner garnered the most attention during the match. Usually calm and composed on the field, Rashid Khan was seen engaged in a verbal battle with Sri Lankan batter Danushka Gunathilaka.
This incident happened on the first delivery of the 17th over of the Sri Lankan innings. Danushka Gunathilaka reverse swept Rashid Khan for a four, after which Rashid and Gunathilaka were seen engaging in a verbal battle. Bhanuka Rajapksa, at the non-striker's end, came in between the two players to separate the two from arguing.
