No press releases, no press conference not even the ODI squad for South Africa tour, just in these two lines, BCCI announced Rohit as the limited-overs captain.
Who did he replace? Surely not the captain with the fourth-best win percentage(68.4) - 65 wins out of 95 matches (minimum 50 ODIs) among all captains, globally. Surely BCCI would have at least released a note thanking the sacked captain for his contribution but it's too much for the Sourav Ganguly-led management.
