Pooja Vastrakar run out: In the ongoing Women's Asia Cup 2022, a decision by the TV umpire in India vs Sri Lanka women's match has attracted a lot of heated attention. Team India's bowling all-rounder Pooja Vastrakar had to bear the consequence of a faulty decision by the TV umpire after which Yuvraj Singh reacted angrily on Twitter on the incident.
The team/players take a DRS when the on-field umpire gives a wrong decision, but what if the TV umpire also makes a mistake? What actually happened was in the 20th over of India's batting, the third umpire wrongly adjudged Pooja Vastrakar's run out. The bowler bowled a full-length delivery where Pooja played a drive and ran for a double.
