New Zealand Name Williamson, Ajaz Patel-Less Test Squad For Bangladesh Series

Opening batter Tom Latham on Wednesday was named New Zealand captain for the two-match Test series against Bangladesh, starting at Bay Oval on New Year's Day, with regular skipper Kane Williamson ruled out due to his elbow injury.

Latham will lead the side for an entire series for the first time, having stepped in to fill the role on four previous occasions. He also led Black Caps in the second Test against India in Mumbai.
