Women's Asia Cup: Jemimah Scores Vital 76 As India Women Thrash Sri Lanka By 41 Runs
INDW vs SLW: In the second match of the Women's Asia Cup 2022, Jemimah Rodrigues shined with the bat with her 76-run knock while Indian bowlers performed brilliantly as Indian women thrashed Sri Lanka women by 41 runs. Pooja Vastrakar & Deepti Sharma also contributed to the win with important wickets.
After being put in to bat first, India was in a spot of trouble as they lost openers Smriti Mandhana (6) and Shafali Verma (10) for just 23 runs. From thereon, young Jemimah Rodrigues and captain Harmanpreet Kaur etched a partnership of 92 runs for the 3rd wicket, laying the base for a good score.
