IND vs AUS: India registered a thumping win over Australia in the first Test match in Nagpur, crushing the visitors inside the first three days, by an innings and 132 runs. Ravindra Jadeja, who made his comeback to cricket after 5 months, was adjudged the 'Player of the Match' for his 7 wickets and 70 runs in the match.

However, it was a disappointing start for the Australians to the series. The batters just couldn't get going and the top score in their team was 49 runs, made by Marnus Labuschagne in the first innings.
