WATCH: Virat Kohli Tries To Recreate Joe Root's 'Magic', But Fails!
In the warm-up practice match agaisnt Leicestershire, Indian team is seemingly in a spot of bother on the first day. Till lunch on day 1, India has scored 90 runs in 28 overs at a loss of 5 wickets. All the fans' eyes are on former Indian captain Virat Kohli, who's at the crease with 9 runs to his name in 32 deliveries. However, during Kohli's time at the crease in the first session, there was a moment where cricket fans were reminded of former England captain Joe Root.
Virat Kohli tried to do something which Joe Root did in the Lord's test against New Zealand. Against Kiwis, Joe Root was standing at non-striker's end and balanced his bat straight on the ground without any support. A video of the same surfaced on the internet and fans termed it as Root's magic.
