After finally managing to clear the Eliminator in IPL 2022, RCB were thrashed by Rajasthan Royals in the Qualifier 2. Jos Buttler was the star in the second innings and he smashed a thunderous ton to chase down the target without any hiccups.
After an excellent bowling performance in the late middle and death overs, Rajasthan Royals were able to restrict Royal Challengers Bangalore to a below-par total of 157. RR were favourites after the first innings, as RCB had only defended a total of below 160 only 9 times in the IPL history.
