Sri Lanka Will Go A Long Way In This Women's T20 World Cup: Chamari Athapaththu
Sri Lanka captain Chamari Athapaththu believes her team is brimming with confidence and feel that they can go a long way in the upcoming ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2023 to be held from February 10-26 in South Africa.
"We have never been as confident as we are going into this tournament. Our ambitions are nothing less than winning the tournament-that is our ultimate goal. Our confidence stems from recent results, the skills and competencies of our players, and the experience we have with the team."
